Scott Lawrence Flugman, MD

Description

Dr. Flugman has been providing dermatologic care to the Huntington and Smithtown communities for over 25 years. His areas of expertise include all areas of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He graduated with high honors from University at Buffalo School of Medicine, and has been board certified in dermatology since 2000 after completing residency training at Stony Brook. Dr. Flugman's practice includes all aspects of adult and pediatric dermatology- from babies with eczema to elderly patients who require skin cancer screening and surgery. He has extensive experience with cometic treatments such as lasers, fillers and botox. His unique blend of skills has served him well as a member of the Katz Institute for Women's Health, and he is also involved in resident education for the Northwell Dermatology residency program. When not in the office, Dr. Flugman is an accomplished drummer who plays in a rock band. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three adult daughters.
